Joy is the fruit of having a right relationship with Jesus Christ. They say even in pain we can experience joy and that happiness is temporary but joy is everlasting. I believe in my situation there are worries that I need to let go in order to experience His joy. The challenge I face is investing in the right priorities in my life.
To me when I hear something like that from a Christian that tells me there's a deep relationship there. It tells me that the physical stuff just doesn't add up to the spiritual connection that is found in Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThat's something that I believe God is showing me that this world will always pass away, things will always change, but He will never change and to get connected to him more closely than ever is a powerful thing. That he's showing me that it's not so much about the works but it's about the relationship with him that really matters.
