Who Me A WRETCH?
Pride is what gets me into trouble. When we are a part of something for too long we forget the original intent. We forget the who and why we have everything and stop to pause. It easy in this modern world to satisfy our immediate needs, however ultimately its never enough. Grace is a gift and we need to remember that and not take it for granted.

I love that song also. For me this as I am in this journey, of all the things that God has taught me the most important was humility. With humility comes the others a lot more easier. The ability to love when it's hard to. The ability to have compassion when I don't want to be compassionate. The ability to smile when I should be punching someone in the face.
ReplyDeleteYes I know I'm a wretch. No question. There's no fooling God about my heart and thoughts. I thank God for his Amazing Grace because that sound is very sweet.
