Not Home Yet

There are pictures in my mind that I imagine heaven to be like but I'm sure my own imagination is limited to God's creativity. To be content in this earthly world and focus on the heavenly matters are difficult with all the access and excess this life has to offer. What I find is temporal satisfaction when I catch myself going after the material or worldly things. The word discipline comes to mind and gratitude. We forget at times that this is not our home and we do everything to get comfortable when we should be focusing on His return to take us home.
