Our Rally Cry

The story of the good Samaritan is one of my favorite stories in the Gospels. It's such a simple story but so very powerful. Someone is hurt and clearly in need. The "religious" avoid him. The people I deal with are oftentimes "hurt" in the spiritual sense. Do I turn a blind eye to it or do I try and engage? There are times I try and engage and other times I think twice about it. I know in my heart I'm always down to help out any brother or sister in need spiritually if I can. I feel I have a missionary's heart and would like to give more to help those frontliners.
