The Perfecting Storm
The two things that stand out as a great reminder is that we will always be faced with trials and to always seek joy in the midst of these trials in our life. I'm still not so mature in my walk that I know I have grumbled and complained during seasons of trials in my life. I forget that He is only strengthening my walk and solidifying for me the true teachings and character of Christ.

Man good devotional! It reminds me of the time when Jesus and crew were crossing the sea and the huge storm hit. Being at sea with a storm brewing and the boat rocking back and forth aint fun. It's downright scary. One thing about these trials or storms is that we've got to sail right through it. No matter how hard, scary, gnarly, life threatening it is we've got to go through it. During those times for me I've learned to mature. To be kinder. To be more gracious. To have a less materialistic heart and mind.
