EXPECTATIONS
I believe honoring my Heavenly Father is to be grateful for all the things in my life. It's interesting how easy this thought comes to mind and how difficult it is to live out an attitude of gratitude. I shouldn't look for more ways to honor my father but to just do it by appreciating the little things. I believe even in the most difficult struggles in my life that there are blessings to be grateful for....Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins!

It's because of my own expectations that have led me down a road of major discouragement. It's been through this road that God has taught me that my own expectations are just that my own and not His. So my life has changed a bit in that it's now where I live, what I do, what I wear, etc. is all just superficial and that I expect not much. But that the Lord will provide in his time and means and that I will live for him in all circumstances.
